Cappuccino candle!

Hello everyone!

New post dedicated to gifts for the house, this time I speak of ... a cappuccino candle in a cup!

I love candles especially those with intense aromas because in addition to being decorative they leave a good smell for the whole house. When you light a candle then, the atmosphere immediately becomes more romantic and welcoming.
Today I show you how to prepare a cappuccino candle in a cup to give to our friends as a decorative item for their home.

I find a very nice and original idea because it is not the usual glass candle, but it reproduces the design and the aroma of a cappuccino.

What you need:

I want to clarify that the ingredients used for this candle, such as soy wax, are a bit 'more expensive because all natural-based paraffin and therefore not harmful. If you want to save money and have in your home some natural wax candles already used, you can reuse those by removing the wick.

METHOD:

  1. Prepare a water bath where you will melt the wax slowly over low heat. As the wax melts you will realize the amount that will be enough for the cup you have chosen.
  2. While you wait for the wax to melt, place the wick in the cup, helping with the biadhesive to keep it straight.
  3. When the wax has completely melted, add the color (in this case you will have to use shades of beige / brown). If you have wax crayons at home you can use those too. Remember that wax when it solidifies tends to be lighter than when it is melted.
  4. Add a few drops of fragrance to the cappuccino.
  5. Now you can pour the liquid wax into the cup, taking care not to burn yourself and not to bend the wick. Let the candle cool for a few hours.

If you have decided to donate the cup with the side plate, I suggest you to glue it to the cup with hot glue.

Once the candle is ready in the cup, go to packaging: you can put it in a gift box or wrap it with a transparent sheet for baskets.
And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this gift idea!
Let me know if you have also tried this candle-cappuccino
