What you need:
What you need:
- a couple of cartons
- scissors
- cutter
- hot glue and glue stick
- Puffy painting (3D)
- light white cardboard
METHOD:
- Draw a circle on the cardboard using a CD and also draw the smallest inner circle. Then cut the outer rim using the scissors and remove the inner circle with the cutter.
- Draw a line half a centimeter from the bottom of the circle and cut along the line to create a straight base. (See picture)
- On the upper part of the circle, obtain the width of the cell that must be inserted.
- Around the marked width draw with the pencil of the half circles (like to make a cloud).
- Then cut along the semi-circles to create a sort of "bite" on the donut.
- You have created a bitten donut! Now to give volume to the phone holder you have to cut out other donuts! Then take the first carton as a guide to cut out another 8 pieces.
- Then take another 4 pieces but this time you do not have to get the whole donut, but only the base. This is because these 4 pieces will be central and will serve to contain the phone, while the other 8 will have to be divided to create the front part and the back part of the donut.
- At this point, glue all the pieces of cardboard with hot glue, 4 donuts in front and then 4 bases in the middle and 4 donuts in the back.
- Cover the donut with white cardboard to avoid showing the edges and the cardboard.
- Now with the pink Puffy painting go to cover the front of the donut creating a sort of frosting. Allow to dry completely.
- With other colors go to create the sugars above the glaze. Allow to dry completely.
Done! It is not a very quick process but the result is very nice! Now you can give away the phone holder to your friends!
I hope you enjoyed this gift idea!
